Spectators: 7496 (Terracing: 5623, Seating: 1724, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Astor Amor started the match with the kick off. After 12 minutes, Gaspar Ostargi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the EAU FC and the Club A.Douglas Haig players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Club A.Douglas Haig booed when EAU FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaspar Ostargi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Astor Amor took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Humberto Theobald. Humberto Theobald dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 19th minute Otsando Llantaron shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victorio Ubelteso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 21 minutes into the match, Astor Amor had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Humberto Theobald. EAU FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Astor Amor was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. EAU FC's Humberto Theobald played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Astor Amor in the 27th minute of play. If Astor Amor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Humberto Theobald took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Astor Amor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Celedonio Paio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 39th minute, Astor Amor ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Humberto Theobald was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Humberto Theobald showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Astor Amor in the 42nd minute of the match. In the 44th match minute, Club A.Douglas Haig was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Walter Van De Beeck to maneuver through the defense. In the 47th minute, Astor Amor made a precise shot to the right of Humberto Theobald. EAU FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Otsando Llantaron to make the kick off. Celedonio Paio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victorio Ubelteso having to interfere. When Otsando Llantaron got free in front of the goal in the 66th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Victorio Ubelteso was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. 71 minutes into the game, Astor Amor recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Humberto Theobald. Astor Amor showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. Astor Amor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of EAU FC booed when Club A.Douglas Haig was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zbyszko Sebzda didn't get a good kick on the ball. Victorio Ubelteso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baltasar Miro in the 76th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Otsando Llantaron in the 85th minute of play forced Club A.Douglas Haig's goalkeeper Victorio Ubelteso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Astor Amor in the 93rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Humberto Theobald, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Astor Amor could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Humberto Theobald made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Digo Simão during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, EAU FC's Digo Simão got a free kick in the 96th minute. When the final whistle went the supporters of Club A.Douglas Haig were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant EAU FC side.
