The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Pastor Ferdinand who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 5thth minute tested the skills of Humberto Theobald when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Humberto Theobald showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Primitivo Beturian, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Primitivo Beturian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Humberto Theobald tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Humberto Theobald didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jose Abar went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. EAU FC's Humberto Theobald played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Primitivo Beturian in the 26th minute of play. After some careless play in the EAU FC defense, Constantino Oidor kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Humberto Theobald. The EAU FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Humberto Theobald should have stopped the shot. Primitivo Beturian recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpected shot in the 32nd minute by Jose Abar got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 37 minutes into the game, EAU FC's Baltasar Miro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nicolas Galanes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Otsando Llantaron made the kick off in the second half. In the 51stth minute of the game Jose Abar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but EAU FC's Humberto Theobald was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 58 minutes into the match, EAU FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jose Abar came free, but Humberto Theobald reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Los Pumas Club booed when EAU FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baltasar Miro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 61st minute, Jose Abar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jose Abar in the 65th minute of play forced EAU FC's goalkeeper Humberto Theobald to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 67thth minute of the game Jose Abar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but EAU FC's Humberto Theobald was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 69th minute, David Mino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jose Abar took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Humberto Theobald. Humberto Theobald dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. 74 minutes into the game, Los Pumas Club's Constantino Oidor nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Humberto Theobald made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. After a rather tough play, EAU FC's Digo Simão got a free kick in the 78th minute. Celedonio Paio struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Nicolas Galanes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for EAU FC. 82 minutes into the match, Constantino Oidor had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Humberto Theobald. EAU FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Constantino Oidor was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-1. In the 89th minute, Otsando Llantaron got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. EAU FC's Humberto Theobald played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jose Abar in the 91st minute of play. Pastor Ferdinand fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Humberto Theobald having to interfere. In the 94th minute, Pastor Ferdinand made a precise shot to the right of Humberto Theobald. EAU FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-1. Los Pumas Club's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
