Victorio Venceslao showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Otsando Llantaron, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. EAU FC's Humberto Theobald played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abel Tallia in the 26th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in FORMOSA CUCU AFC's zone, Otsando Llantaron stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Victorio Venceslao came out of the goal and Otsando Llantaron tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 30th minute Celedonio Paio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victorio Venceslao saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 33 minutes, Otsando Llantaron managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. EAU FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Otsando Llantaron was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Otsando Llantaron took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Victorio Venceslao. Victorio Venceslao dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. In the 38th minute, Baltasar Miro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, FORMOSA CUCU AFC's Abel Tallia got a free kick in the 40th minute. Celedonio Paio charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Celedonio Paio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to EAU FC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Celedonio Paio hit a great ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Otsando Llantaron to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in FORMOSA CUCU AFC's zone, Baltasar Miro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Victorio Venceslao came out of the goal and Baltasar Miro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Celedonio Paio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, FORMOSA CUCU AFC's Victorio Venceslao got control of the ball when Celedonio Paio tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of FORMOSA CUCU AFC booed when EAU FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ricardo Senio didn't get a good kick on the ball. EAU FC's Humberto Theobald played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raul Luke in the 65th minute of play. When the match clock showed 72 minutes, the score became 1-4 when Otsando Llantaron sped through FORMOSA CUCU AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Victorio Venceslao. In the 79th match minute, FORMOSA CUCU AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raul Luke to maneuver through the defense. In the 80th minute, FORMOSA CUCU AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Celedonio Paio fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 82nd minute, Baltasar Miro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Humberto Theobald took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abel Tallia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
