Cosme Nicholas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jose Abar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nicolas Galanes was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gustavo Chale showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 24 minute of play. Cosme Nicholas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pastor Ferdinand in the 29th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jose Abar in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cosme Nicholas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 32nd minute, Serafin Rosario hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With an all-out effort, Imperio Yabrew's Nicolas Galanes threw himself towards the right post 35 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gustavo Chale, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 36 minutes, Serafin Rosario mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Los Pumas Club and the Imperio Yabrew players grew even worse after the yellow card. Arturo Marques hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. A collision led to Los Pumas Club getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Pastor Ferdinand hit a great ball. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Los Pumas Club reached it. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Venancio Isusko made the kick off in the second half. Imperio Yabrew were awarded a corner in the 58th minute after Los Pumas Club's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jonatan Lordi took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Jonatan Lordi got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Nicolas Galanes quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 61 played minutes Imperio Yabrew got a freekick which was hit by Gustavo Chale. The supporters of Los Pumas Club booed when Imperio Yabrew was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonatan Lordi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gustavo Chale kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Imperio Yabrew's Delmiro Otsando was substituted for Venancio Isusko. After a rather tough play, Imperio Yabrew's Gustavo Chale got a free kick in the 69th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jose Abar got free with Cosme Nicholas in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Costa Salgueiro hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. The supporters of Imperio Yabrew booed when Los Pumas Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amadeo Manni didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cosme Nicholas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jose Abar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cosme Nicholas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. Nicolas Galanes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Delmiro Otsando went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
