When Burak Ersal came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Niupi F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Burak Ersal couldn't finish the play. Dalmacio Maore showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Burak Ersal, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Dale Colon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Cerveteque booed when Niupi F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dale Colon didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Burak Ersal came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Niupi F.C. fans jumped to their feet. In the 36th minute, Burak Ersal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roberto Videl in the 37th minute of play forced Niupi F.C.'s goalkeeper Segundo Ranolfo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner led Cerveteque's Tobias Iratxo to fire away a dangerous shot which Segundo Ranolfo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Segundo Ranolfo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baldomiro Koldobika in the 46th minute of play. When Gergin Smilevski came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Niupi F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gergin Smilevski couldn't finish the play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Baldomiro Koldobika to strike the kick off in the second half. Dalmacio Maore made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gergin Smilevski in the 52nd minute of play. Guillermo Indartsu kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. If Baldomero Raitin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Niupi F.C.'s Burak Ersal got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Niupi F.C.'s Gaston Ourente got a free kick in the 65th minute. The supporters of Niupi F.C. booed when Cerveteque was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roberto Videl didn't get a good kick on the ball. 68 minutes into the match, Burak Ersal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dalmacio Maore. Cerveteque's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Burak Ersal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 71st minute, Dale Colon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dalmacio Maore was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. After a rather tough play, Niupi F.C.'s Martin Victoro got a free kick in the 74th minute. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Niupi F.C.'s goalkeeper Segundo Ranolfo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 76thth minute of the game Baldomero Raitin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cerveteque's Dalmacio Maore was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Cerveteque's Guillermo Indartsu got a free kick in the 77th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Baldomero Raitin in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dalmacio Maore saved Cerveteque from getting behind. With 84 minutes on the clock, Martin Victoro commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 83rd minute of the game. One of Niupi F.C.:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Cerveteque:s goal. The goalkeeper, Segundo Ranolfo, was totally fooled by Cerveteque's Baldomiro Koldobika, who 85 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Niupi F.C.'s Segundo Ranolfo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baldomiro Koldobika in the 88th minute of play. A collision led to Cerveteque getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Eliseo Lorencio hit a great ball. Baldomero Raitin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dalmacio Maore read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Niupi F.C.'s zone, Roberto Videl stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Segundo Ranolfo came out of the goal and Roberto Videl tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Niupi F.C. support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
