The coaching staff of The Godfathers F.C. protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Dalmacio Gutierrez had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 10th minute, Dalmacio Gutierrez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benji Price made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nereo Gonza in the 11th minute. Damian Urko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Damian Urko got free with Benji Price in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Benji Price showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damian Urko, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. ꜱᴀɴ ᴍᴀʀᴛɪɴ ᴅᴇ ᴛᴜᴄᴜᴍᴀɴ's Geronimo Joanes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baldomiro Estefan in the 22nd minute of play. Benji Price took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Prudencio Ibar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in ꜱᴀɴ ᴍᴀʀᴛɪɴ ᴅᴇ ᴛᴜᴄᴜᴍᴀɴ's zone, Leonardo Lop stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Geronimo Joanes came out of the goal and Leonardo Lop tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Benji Price showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damian Urko in the 31st minute of the match. Benji Price made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nereo Gonza in the 33rd minute. Cornelio Montrell charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cornelio Montrell the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 40th minute, Cornelio Montrell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Godfathers F.C.'s Benji Price proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save The Godfathers F.C. from getting a goal against them. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Baldomiro Estefan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Prudencio Ibar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Benji Price tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the ꜱᴀɴ ᴍᴀʀᴛɪɴ ᴅᴇ ᴛᴜᴄᴜᴍᴀɴ players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
