The audience thought a goal was coming when Tarik Ožir got free with Elpidio Urre in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 18th minute Haroldo Dolfos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elpidio Urre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elpidio Urre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Haroldo Dolfos in the 19th minute of play. The supporters of C. Atlético Sportivo Díaz booed when Apipé AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martin Curcio didn't get a good kick on the ball. 24 minutes into the match, Tarik Ožir had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Elpidio Urre. C. Atlético Sportivo Díaz's Elpidio Urre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Jakue in the 42nd minute of play. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tarik Ožir stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Apipé AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Venancio Bittor fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 52 minutes into the game, Flavio Ortzi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Apipé AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C. Atlético Sportivo Díaz the free kick. After 52 played minutes Apipé AFC got a freekick which was hit by Flavio Ortzi. Joel Uxio took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 53rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Felipe Jakue. Apipé AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Felipe Jakue showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felipe Bermudo in the 54th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pedro Jakue in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Elpidio Urre prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, Pedro Jakue put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Elpidio Urre. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pedro Jakue in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Elpidio Urre saved C. Atlético Sportivo Díaz from getting behind. In the 81st minute Osvaldo Abadia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felipe Jakue saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Apipé AFC getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Flavio Ortzi hit a great ball. When Apipé AFC's Pedro Jakue in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye C. Elpidio Urre was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tarik Ožir received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Elpidio Urre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Elpidio Urre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Haroldo Dolfos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 91 minutes, Pedro Jakue managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Apipé AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pedro Jakue was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Severo Azubeli hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Apipé AFC had played much better football throughout.
