Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Deportivo HD's Fernan Macario started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Martin Dantel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Estudiantil's supporters rose to their feet, but Martin Dantel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gaston Donio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 8 minutes, Severiano Hever managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Estudiantil's supporters crossed their fingers, but Severiano Hever was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Celedonio Tavio in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gaston Donio saved Deportivo HD from getting behind. 15 minutes into the match, Estudiantil's Celedonio Tavio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gaston Donio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 19th minute Severiano Hever shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaston Donio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 20th minute, Estudiantil's Xelo Ruesga seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Xelo Ruesga the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Estudiantil protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Xelo Ruesga had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 19th minute of the game. One of Estudiantil:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Deportivo HD:s goal. The referee gave Deportivo HD a penalty, 22 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Zacarias Pudes, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Estudiantil's Jonatan Selatse. 1-1. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Deportivo HD's goalkeeper Gaston Donio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Zacarias Pudes's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jonatan Selatse firmly grabbed it by the left post. After having played for 41 minutes, Martin Dantel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Estudiantil's supporters crossed their fingers, but Martin Dantel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Deportivo HD's Albino Rubio got a free kick in the 44th minute. 47 minutes into the match, Severiano Hever notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Deportivo HD's Gaston Donio. Gaston Donio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Severiano Hever stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Martin Dantel in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gaston Donio saved Deportivo HD from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luciano Gaufred during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Estudiantil booed when Deportivo HD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luciano Gaufred didn't get a good kick on the ball. Estudiantil's Martin Dantel couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 58th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Deportivo HD. Gaston Donio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severiano Hever in the 60th minute of the match. After 61 minutes, Leo Ovando mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Deportivo HD and the Estudiantil players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 61st match minute, Deportivo HD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leo Ovando to maneuver through the defense. 62 minutes into the match, Deportivo HD's goal looked a bit too open when Severiano Hever came free, but Gaston Donio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 64 minutes, Zacarias Pudes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Deportivo HD and the Estudiantil players grew even worse after the yellow card. Martin Dantel took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gaston Donio. Gaston Donio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. A collision led to Deportivo HD getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Luciano Gaufred hit a great ball. With a little luck, Deportivo HD's Gaston Donio got control of the ball when Ramiro Ortle tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Martin Dantel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Deportivo HD's zone, Severiano Hever stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gaston Donio came out of the goal and Severiano Hever tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Martin Dantel struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Gaston Donio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Estudiantil. Gaston Donio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severiano Hever, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Martin Dantel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leo Ovando was shown his second yellow card after 85 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Leo Ovando hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Severiano Hever fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaston Donio having to interfere. Martin Dantel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Martin Dantel struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Gaston Donio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Estudiantil.
