Spectators: 7270 (Terracing: 5621, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 149) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Celedonio Tavio kicked off to start the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Juan Gar during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Estudiantil's Matias Luzaide shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 6th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Luís Guimarães but with some difficulty. 15 minutes into the match, Camboyanos's goal looked a bit too open when Severiano Hever came free, but Luís Guimarães reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd minute, Camboyanos's Danilo Estefan seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Danilo Estefan the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Camboyanos protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Danilo Estefan had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 22 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Camboyanos! Jonatan Selatse made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Genaro Pereyra in the 27th minute of play. In the 43rd minute, Genaro Pereyra ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonatan Selatse was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Celedonio Tavio took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luís Guimarães. Luís Guimarães dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Matthias Esbjörnsson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Camboyanos's zone, Celedonio Tavio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luís Guimarães came out of the goal and Celedonio Tavio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luís Guimarães made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celedonio Tavio in the 57th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Freddy Cedro during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 63rd match minute, Estudiantil was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Freddy Cedro to maneuver through the defense. After 72 played minutes Estudiantil got a freekick which was hit by Celedonio Tavio. After 74 minutes, Nikitas Karachalios mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Camboyanos and the Estudiantil players grew even worse after the yellow card. Nikitas Karachalios kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. After having played for 76 minutes, Severiano Hever managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Estudiantil's supporters crossed their fingers, but Severiano Hever was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Martin Dantel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Luís Guimarães tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Severiano Hever sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 86 minutes into the match, Estudiantil's goal looked a bit too open when Matthias Esbjörnsson came free, but Jonatan Selatse reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severiano Hever in the 93rd minute of play forced Camboyanos's goalkeeper Luís Guimarães to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Camboyanos's Luís Guimarães played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celedonio Tavio in the 94th minute of play. Celedonio Tavio struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Luís Guimarães didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Estudiantil. Camboyanos's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
