Spectators: 6013 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 500, VIP seats: 13) Lino Lleir started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 3rd minute of the match Omar Silbestre sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Octavio Maraman skillfully saved the ball. Gabriel-Omar Batistuta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Octavio Maraman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Gabriel-Omar Batistuta managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cosquín's supporters rose to their feet, but Gabriel-Omar Batistuta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Octavio Maraman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tauri Maripuu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 19th match minute, Cosquín was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lech Spychalski to maneuver through the defense. Anacleto Ulizes, 20 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After taking down the ball on Cosquín's corner Armando Paredes fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Octavio Maraman quite easily take care of the ball. When the match clock showed 23 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Armando Paredes sped through Crespo FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Octavio Maraman. A collision led to Crespo FC getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Severo Banegas hit a great ball. Santo Mendebal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lino Lleir, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Octavio Maraman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tauri Maripuu, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. After some careless play in the Crespo FC defense, Gabriel-Omar Batistuta kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Octavio Maraman. The Crespo FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Octavio Maraman should have stopped the shot. Tauri Maripuu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Octavio Maraman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Crespo FC's zone, Tauri Maripuu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Octavio Maraman came out of the goal and Tauri Maripuu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gabriel-Omar Batistuta to make the kick off. After 53 minutes, Tauri Maripuu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cosquín and the Crespo FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 53rd match minute, Cosquín was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tauri Maripuu to maneuver through the defense. In the 55th minute, Tauri Maripuu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Octavio Maraman. The goal made the score 0-3. Omar Silbestre kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Crespo FC made a substitution. Jonatan Brun replaced Hector Ugutz. Omar Silbestre hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Sergio Juvenal hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Cosquín's Armando Paredes got a free kick in the 89th minute. Cosquín's Gabriel-Omar Batistuta got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 94 minutes, Tauri Maripuu took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Octavio Maraman to make any attempt to save it. Cosquín played a much better game than Crespo FC and deserved their victory. The Crespo FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
