Evaristo Macerio ran over to the corner to take the kick. Santos Borre's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nereo Gasteiz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. Santos Borre took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nereo Gasteiz. Nereo Gasteiz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Laurids Baylund made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Serafino Leobardo sent off a good shot on target. Nereo Gasteiz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santos Borre in the 25th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, DESTROY's goalkeeper Laurids Baylund had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mauro Dodorol. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santos Borre in the 35th minute of play forced FC Magdeburg's goalkeeper Nereo Gasteiz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Laurids Baylund made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mauro Dodorol in the 37th minute. Nereo Gasteiz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luisito Ibar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, DESTROY's Laurids Baylund got control of the ball when Serafino Leobardo tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

After taking down the ball on DESTROY's corner Evaristo Macerio fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Nereo Gasteiz quite easily take care of the ball. Armando Maradona could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Nereo Gasteiz made a huge save. With his leg Nereo Gasteiz managed to avoid a goal in the 70thth minute, when DESTROY's Armando Maradona fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 71st minute, Semih Selim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in FC Magdeburg's zone, Armando Maradona stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nereo Gasteiz came out of the goal and Armando Maradona tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Laurids Baylund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damaso Lertxun, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. A collision led to FC Magdeburg getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Anacleto Barea hit a great ball. In the 78th minute, Armando Maradona got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Per-Erik Vesterberg in the 82nd minute of play forced FC Magdeburg's goalkeeper Nereo Gasteiz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The DESTROY fans' excitement grew in the 95th match minute when DESTROY's Armando Maradona looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The DESTROY players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented FC Magdeburg from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
