But to his dismay, Damaso Lertxun quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Hugo Eli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Desiderio Ayala in the 10th minute of play. 12 minutes into the match, Serafino Leobardo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hugo Eli. Altona AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Serafino Leobardo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 16th minute, Leandro Curcio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 18thth minute of the game Serafino Leobardo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Altona AFC's Hugo Eli was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Altona AFC's zone, Semih Selim stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hugo Eli came out of the goal and Semih Selim tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 22 minutes, Serafino Leobardo made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Altona AFC's Hugo Eli tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Serafino Leobardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Serafino Leobardo was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Serafino Leobardo in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hugo Eli saved Altona AFC from getting behind. Hugo Eli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Desiderio Ayala in the 59th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Serafino Leobardo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hugo Eli was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. After taking down the ball on FC Magdeburg's corner Semih Selim fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Hugo Eli quite easily take care of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Serafino Leobardo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Hugo Eli. That made the score 0-8 in the 64 minute of play. In the 79th minute Damaso Lertxun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Eli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 82 minutes into the game, Damaso Lertxun recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Hugo Eli. Damaso Lertxun showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-10. With a little luck, Altona AFC's Hugo Eli got control of the ball when Serafino Leobardo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Desiderio Ayala blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hugo Eli having to make a save. FC Magdeburg's Octavio Gutierrez was substituted for Serafino Leobardo. 96 minutes into the game, Octavio Gutierrez lined in a short shot 0-11 behind a frustrated Hugo Eli. FC Magdeburg's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
