With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alaaddin Uchiha prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 17th minute, Teofilo Bizi made a precise shot to the right of Bernabe Guib. Pelotillehue's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. 21 minutes into the match, Jeronimo Cidro dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Bernabe Guib, 2-0. The supporters of River Plate booed when Pelotillehue was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Braulio Bautista didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Rosendo Otsoa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alaaddin Uchiha was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. Alaaddin Uchiha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rosendo Otsoa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in River Plate's zone, Albino Elequemedo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alaaddin Uchiha came out of the goal and Albino Elequemedo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 43 minutes into the game, Rosendo Otsoa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Alaaddin Uchiha was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bernabe Guib made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alfredo Bastos in the 46th minute. River Plate were awarded a corner in the 47th minute after Pelotillehue's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Alfredo Bastos took the corner.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rosendo Otsoa made a kick off. Alaaddin Uchiha had great luck who in the 64thth minute grab hold of the ball when Rosendo Otsoa from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. In the 66th minute Pelotillehue were awarded a corner. Delmar Olayo went to the cornerflag to take it. Remigio Orzaize kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Rosendo Otsoa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pelotillehue's supporters rose to their feet, but Rosendo Otsoa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alaaddin Uchiha breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Albano Silvanito fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Pelotillehue's Bernabe Guib played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeronimo Cidro in the 80th minute of play. Rosendo Otsoa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alaaddin Uchiha having to interfere. Camilo Ortle might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alaaddin Uchiha. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Camilo Ortle ran back to his position shaking his head. 95 minutes into the match, River Plate's goal looked a bit too open when Rosendo Otsoa came free, but Alaaddin Uchiha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 95th minute, Remigio Orzaize had to leave the field with a concussion. After 95 minutes of play River Plate's Teofilo Bizi was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Pelotillehue's Maximino Cuartio was substituted for Remigio Orzaize. Teofilo Bizi hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Pelotillehue players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for River Plate.
