Chacarita Juniors's Bernardino Esquipula played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victorio Rainerio in the 20th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Melchor Marin during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 20th match minute, Xente FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Melchor Marin to maneuver through the defense. The tension between the C.A. Chacarita Juniors and the Xente FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 32 played minutes C.A. The audience was convinced that Melchor Marin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bernardino Esquipula was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. When the match clock showed 35 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Melchor Marin sped through C.A. Chacarita Juniors's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bernardino Esquipula. Melchor Marin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Melchor Marin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Melchor Marin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Xente FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Melchor Marin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bernardino Esquipula breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 54thth minute of the game Ladislao Bautista who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Xente FC's Adrian Ganix was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Melchor Marin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Melchor Marin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardino Esquipula having to interfere. After a rather tough play, C.A. Chacarita Juniors's Ignacio Erlantz got a free kick in the 60th minute. After 61 played minutes C.A. Chacarita Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Ladislao Bautista. 64 minutes into the match, Xente FC's Melchor Marin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bernardino Esquipula narrowly saved just below the crossbar. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Xente FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
