The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ladislao Bautista was the one to do the kick off. SK FC's Carmelo Florin got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 82 minutes into the match, SK FC's Francis Sirait sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bernardino Esquipula narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sepp Fjeldtorp came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by C.A. Chacarita Juniors's Ladislao Bautista. But to his dismay, Ladislao Bautista quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Carmelo Florin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bernardino Esquipula having to make a save.
