Roberto Ruy was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Francis Sirait showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 4 minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Ugarteche's zone, Carmelo Florin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roberto Ruy came out of the goal and Carmelo Florin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Carmelo Florin managed to get in a good position for a shot. SK FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Carmelo Florin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roberto Ruy breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 17th minute, Esteban Herauso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Francis Sirait received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Roberto Ruy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Carmelo Florin managed to get in a good position for a shot. SK FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Carmelo Florin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roberto Ruy breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Francis Sirait scored 2-0 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Roberto Ruy, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Francis Sirait fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roberto Ruy having to interfere. In the 33rd minute Francis Sirait shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roberto Ruy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as SK FC's Francis Sirait slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Roberto Ruy. That made the score 3-0 after 36 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Godfredo Oriol in the 39th minute of play forced SK FC's goalkeeper Sepp Fjeldtorp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, SK FC's German Eleazar got a free kick in the 40th minute. In the 44th minute, Aquiles Bemabe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. SK FC's Sepp Fjeldtorp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Esteban Herauso in the 47th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Rogelio Pereyra made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Ugarteche's goal looked a bit too open when Carmelo Florin came free, but Roberto Ruy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carmelo Florin in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Roberto Ruy saved Ugarteche from getting behind. 56 minutes into the game, Maximo Normando was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SK FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ugarteche the free kick. Miguel Eduino lost his temper 60 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The audience was convinced that Carmelo Florin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Roberto Ruy was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. When the match clock showed 71 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Carmelo Florin sped through Ugarteche's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Roberto Ruy. After 74 minutes, Francis Sirait made it 6-0 with a short kick to the right side. Ugarteche's Roberto Ruy tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Godfredo Oriol came free with the goalkeeper in the 78th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Sepp Fjeldtorp could save by the left post. Carmelo Florin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roberto Ruy having to interfere. Ugarteche's Roberto Ruy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francis Sirait in the 90th minute of play. If Carmelo Florin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. There was no doubt that SK FC were the better team. SK FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
