Spectators: 7651 (Terracing: 5740, Seating: 1759, VIP seats: 152) River Plate's Alberto Ortzi started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Severo Bonifaco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pascual Elivareo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Amador Eleazar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baltasar Umbruso in the 6th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Ortzi in the 7th minute of play forced Maravilla's goalkeeper Severo Bonifaco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bartolo Quexal in the 9th minute of play forced Maravilla's goalkeeper Severo Bonifaco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 10 played minutes River Plate got a freekick which was hit by Bartolo Quexal. Baltasar Umbruso blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Amador Eleazar having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carolo Beila in the 17th minute of play forced Maravilla's goalkeeper Severo Bonifaco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, River Plate's Gregorio Refugio got a free kick in the 18th minute. After 20 minutes of play, Maravilla's Frans Zwartkruis made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Amador Eleazar was left in no man's land by his defense there! Amador Eleazar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baltasar Umbruso, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. In the 26th minute Maravilla were awarded a corner. Damaso Jokin went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Maravilla's Damaso Jokin to fire away a dangerous shot which Amador Eleazar despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 27th minute, Bebeto Vinhas made a precise shot to the right of Amador Eleazar. River Plate's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Bebeto Vinhas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Amador Eleazar made a huge save. After 31 minutes of play, Maravilla's Bebeto Vinhas made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Amador Eleazar was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 34th minute, Maravilla's Frans Zwartkruis dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. In the 36thth minute of the game Frans Zwartkruis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but River Plate's Amador Eleazar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 37th match minute, River Plate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Feliciano Havier to maneuver through the defense. Amador Eleazar was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Frans Zwartkruis showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 5-0 in the 40 minute of play. If Frans Zwartkruis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Severo Bonifaco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bartolo Quexal, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Frans Zwartkruis to make the kick off. In the 51st minute Frans Zwartkruis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amador Eleazar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 55 minutes into the game, Maravilla's Bebeto Vinhas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Amador Eleazar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. Amador Eleazar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Frans Zwartkruis's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. 59 minutes into the game, Isidoro Bakar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. River Plate's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Maravilla the free kick. Isidoro Bakar kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Carolo Beila hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. 64 minutes into the match, Vinicio Salomone had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Amador Eleazar. River Plate's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vinicio Salomone was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. A collision led to River Plate getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Pascual Elivareo hit a great ball. The Maravilla fans' excitement grew in the 68th match minute when Maravilla's Frans Zwartkruis looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 9-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Frans Zwartkruis scored 10-0 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Amador Eleazar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in River Plate's zone, Baltasar Umbruso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amador Eleazar came out of the goal and Baltasar Umbruso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 75 played minutes River Plate got a freekick which was hit by Gregorio Refugio. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Frans Zwartkruis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Maravilla's supporters rose to their feet, but Frans Zwartkruis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amador Eleazar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 81st play minutes Frans Zwartkruis shot 12-0, a short shot which went by Amador Eleazar and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 84th minute, Bebeto Vinhas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Amador Eleazar was frozen by the shot and now it was 13-0. Amador Eleazar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frans Zwartkruis in the 88th minute of play. When Baltasar Umbruso fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Maravilla's protests and gave Baltasar Umbruso a yellow card for diving instead. Baltasar Umbruso kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the Maravilla players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
