In the 25th minute, La 6's Amado Beturian ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Narciso Napier. Narciso Napier yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. 27 minutes into the match, Celedonio Harkaitz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cristian Tiso. La 6's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Celedonio Harkaitz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-5. Danilo Primeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Cristian Tiso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonathan Rolado charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Celedonio Harkaitz ran back to his position shaking his head. La 6's Cristian Tiso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celedonio Harkaitz in the 40th minute of play. Cristian Tiso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Danilo Primeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. After 43 minutes of play, Lomas de Zamora FC's Celedonio Harkaitz made it 1-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cristian Tiso was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 46th minute, Celedonio Harkaitz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cristian Tiso was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-7. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-7 lead.

The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match was over Lomas de Zamora FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than La 6 throughout the match.
