Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Jonathon Meza started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 4th match minute, Balumba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matias Dantae to maneuver through the defense. In the 8th minute, Jonathon Meza ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Artemio Gervaso was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. A collision led to Club Leones getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Domingo Costante hit a great ball. Balumba's Artemio Gervaso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Domingo Costante in the 15th minute of play. When Rolando Adrio came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Club Leones fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rolando Adrio couldn't finish the play. After 19 minutes of play, Club Leones's Rolando Adrio made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Artemio Gervaso was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Domingo Costante in the 23rd minute of play forced Balumba's goalkeeper Artemio Gervaso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nereo Aresti could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Prospero Palben made a huge save. A collision led to Balumba getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Nereo Lehoi hit a great ball. 27 minutes into the game, Club Leones's Jonathon Meza nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Artemio Gervaso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Artemio Gervaso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rolando Adrio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 44th minute, Matias Dantae hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Domingo Costante came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Club Leones fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Domingo Costante couldn't finish the play. After the first half Club Leones were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Salvador Artal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Domingo Costante recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Jonathon Meza put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Artemio Gervaso. Prospero Palben came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Balumba's Nereo Aresti. But to his dismay, Nereo Aresti quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. Rolando Adrio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Artemio Gervaso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. In the 64th minute, Rolando Adrio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Artemio Gervaso was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. After a rather tough play, Balumba's Salvador Artal got a free kick in the 72nd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Domingo Costante kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Artemio Gervaso. That made the score 1-6 in the 75 minute of play. Artemio Gervaso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Domingo Costante in the 78th minute of the match. Rolando Adrio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Rolando Adrio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 90 played minutes Club Leones got a freekick which was hit by Godfredo Gregory. After 94 minutes of play, Balumba's Nereo Aresti made it 2-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Prospero Palben was left in no man's land by his defense there!
