Paulo Vergaray might have been able to make a better finish in the 6th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Robert Czciborek. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Paulo Vergaray ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 10th minute, Cosme Lauren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Ruka's zone, Paulo Vergaray stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Robert Czciborek came out of the goal and Paulo Vergaray tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Romulo Tono managed to get in a good position for a shot. Umita FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Romulo Tono was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Robert Czciborek breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Umita FC's Damaso Juvenal pulled a muscle in his back after 18 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Higinio Gutierrez's late challenge caught a Umita FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Higinio Gutierrez helped the player get up and apologised. The audience thought a goal was coming when Higinio Gutierrez got free with Gabriel Navarro in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gabriel Navarro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Higinio Gutierrez went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Romulo Tono's late challenge caught a Ruka's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Romulo Tono helped the player get up and apologised. After 26 played minutes Umita FC got a freekick which was hit by Romulo Tono. In the 28th match minute, Umita FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romulo Tono to maneuver through the defense. After 30 played minutes Ruka got a freekick which was hit by Marcelo Ordono. If Romulo Tono had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Umita FC's Gabriel Navarro got control of the ball when Higinio Gutierrez tried to sneak it across the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Gabriel Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Higinio Gutierrez in the 58th minute of play. Umita FC's Gabriel Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Higinio Gutierrez in the 60th minute of play. The supporters of Umita FC booed when Ruka was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernesto Barros didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Ruka fans' excitement grew in the 70th match minute when Ruka's Higinio Gutierrez looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Ruka made a substitution. Carlos Garikoitz replaced Lorenzo Diagur. Ruka's Higinio Gutierrez got his second yellow card of the match in the 74th minute. The referee ordered Higinio Gutierrez off the ground. In the 75th minute, Higinio Gutierrez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carlos Garikoitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gabriel Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Garikoitz in the 87th minute of the match. Carlos Garikoitz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 95 minutes into the match, Umita FC's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Garikoitz came free, but Gabriel Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Ruka fans cheered their team off the field, for while Umita FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
