Mariano Mede made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Reynaldo Casomiro sent off a good shot on target. Paulo Vergaray's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mariano Mede read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. Gabriel Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Segundo Jago, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Segundo Jago in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gabriel Navarro saved Umita FC from getting behind. 18 minutes into the match, Umita FC's goal looked a bit too open when Segundo Jago came free, but Gabriel Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 20 minutes, Paulino Palben managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Somos Nosotros's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulino Palben was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gabriel Navarro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Segundo Jago went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the Umita FC defense, Segundo Jago kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gabriel Navarro. The Umita FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gabriel Navarro should have stopped the shot. Segundo Jago scored 0-3 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gabriel Navarro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Umita FC booed when Somos Nosotros was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baldomiro Guter didn't get a good kick on the ball. 40 minutes into the match, Umita FC's goal looked a bit too open when Segundo Jago came free, but Gabriel Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 43rd minute Segundo Jago shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gabriel Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Segundo Jago in the 47th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Segundo Jago stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paulino Palben in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gabriel Navarro saved Umita FC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulino Palben in the 57th minute of play forced Umita FC's goalkeeper Gabriel Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The attack was good, but when Paulo Vergaray in the 62nd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Segundo Jago's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 67thth minute, Gabriel Navarro skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Gabriel Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baldomiro Guter in the 73rd minute of the match. Paulo Vergaray fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mariano Mede having to interfere. Segundo Jago received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gabriel Navarro came out and tried to block the shot, but Segundo Jago slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 76th minute. Segundo Jago succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-6 in the 81st playminute. Segundo Jago who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 84thth minute tested the skills of Gabriel Navarro when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With his leg Gabriel Navarro managed to avoid a goal in the 86thth minute, when Somos Nosotros's Segundo Jago fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Paulo Vergaray received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Mariano Mede tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gabriel Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulino Palben, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an all-out effort, Somos Nosotros's Gabriel Navarro threw himself towards the right post 93 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Paulino Palben, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Segundo Jago fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabriel Navarro having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Somos Nosotros had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
