With a little luck, Club Leones's Prospero Palben got control of the ball when Segundo Jago tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Segundo Jago in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Prospero Palben saved Club Leones from getting behind. After having played for 22 minutes, Rolando Adrio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Leones's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rolando Adrio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Somos Nosotros getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Carmelo Gauargi hit a great ball. Jonathon Meza scored 0-1 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mariano Mede, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mariano Mede made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonathon Meza in the 27th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, Somos Nosotros's goal looked a bit too open when Maximino Mederi came free, but Mariano Mede reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Paulino Palben came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Somos Nosotros fans jumped to their feet. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jonathon Meza to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonathon Meza in the 51st minute of play forced Somos Nosotros's goalkeeper Mariano Mede to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Club Leones were furious when Maximino Mederi was red carded, 93 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 92nd minute, one of Club Leones:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Club Leones.
