With a couple of smart ball manuevers Salvador Artal in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eleuterio Gorosti saved Fanegas AFC from getting behind. In the 21st match minute, Balumba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rogelio Baladi to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 23 minutes, Vinicio Eneas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fanegas AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vinicio Eneas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nereo Aresti could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Eleuterio Gorosti made a huge save. In the 27th minute Salvador Artal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eleuterio Gorosti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Fanegas AFC's Cleto Nesto got a free kick in the 28th minute. Nereo Aresti's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eleuterio Gorosti read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. Artemio Gervaso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vinicio Eneas's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nereo Lehoi during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Nereo Lehoi hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Artemio Gervaso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cesar Austin in the 39th minute of play. Eleuterio Gorosti made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nereo Aresti in the 45th minute. The supporters of Balumba booed when Fanegas AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cleto Nesto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Balumba's Salvador Artal managed to work through Fanegas AFC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Salvador Artal dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Salvador Artal was the one to do the kick off. Victoriano Sansone charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Victoriano Sansone the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Salvador Artal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Eleuterio Gorosti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cleto Nesto kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Rogelio Baladi got his second yellow card in the match during the 75th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, Balumba's Rogelio Baladi got a free kick in the 76th minute. A collision led to Balumba getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Nereo Lehoi hit a great ball. Daniel Ciano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Artemio Gervaso having to interfere. Cesar Austin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The tension between the Balumba and the Fanegas AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Eleuterio Gorosti came out of the goal and Nereo Aresti tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
