Belmiro Arósio started the match with the kick off. Diablos Rojos's Prospero Sancho was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Marcelito Barovero in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 11th minute, Sebastian Tarchilă left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Diablos Rojos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. If Maxim Dăianu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Sebastian Tarchilă came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Diablos Rojos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sebastian Tarchilă couldn't finish the play. 17 minutes into the match, Sebastian Tarchilă had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcelito Barovero. Newcastle United ARG's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sebastian Tarchilă was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After a rather tough play, Newcastle United ARG's Victorio Marquez got a free kick in the 20th minute. In the 21st minute, a hard, long distance shot from Prospero Sancho hit the top of the crossbar and flew over the goal. In the 23rd minute, Big Benne made a precise shot to the right of Marcelito Barovero. Newcastle United ARG's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Big Benne recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Maxim Dăianu might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcelito Barovero. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Maxim Dăianu ran back to his position shaking his head. Sebastian Tarchilă scored 0-4 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcelito Barovero, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Marcelito Barovero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Tarchilă in the 38th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Newcastle United ARG defense, Sebastian Tarchilă kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcelito Barovero. The Newcastle United ARG fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcelito Barovero should have stopped the shot. Marcelito Barovero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maxim Dăianu, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The Newcastle United ARG players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Diablos Rojos were winning 0-5.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sebastian Tarchilă made a kick off. Ignacio Luzea's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Samuel Stabbe read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. After having played for 53 minutes, Maxim Dăianu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Diablos Rojos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maxim Dăianu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sebastian Tarchilă fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelito Barovero having to interfere. Marcelito Barovero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maxim Dăianu, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Marcelito Barovero made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sebastian Tarchilă in the 71st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Newcastle United ARG's zone, Maxim Dăianu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcelito Barovero came out of the goal and Maxim Dăianu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Newcastle United ARG's Paulo Cugat was substituted for Björn-Torben Von Bischhoffshausen. In the 82nd minute, Leonides Froila hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 84 minutes into the game, Big Benne cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. Marcelito Barovero was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
