Club Santafesino NQN's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 23rd minute, Froilan Etxeberri ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jairo Ferdinand was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 25 minutes into the game, Casimiro Cloyo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Diablos Rojos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Santafesino NQN the free kick. A collision led to Diablos Rojos getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Casimiro Cloyo hit a great ball. In the 26th minute, Jacinto Rosio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jairo Ferdinand made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norbert Skrzypiec in the 29th minute of play. Norbert Skrzypiec recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Froilan Lucian kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Hermengildo Dubardo's late challenge caught a Club Santafesino NQN's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hermengildo Dubardo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 38th match minute, Diablos Rojos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hermengildo Dubardo to maneuver through the defense. A well placed Norbert Skrzypiec short distance shot in the 39th minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. After 42 played minutes Diablos Rojos got a freekick which was hit by Luciano Jorrin. Juan Manuel Casanueva, 43 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Froilan Lucian recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Simon Lizer to strike the kick off in the second half. Nath Reddington struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. When Froilan Lucian was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 57 minutes had been played. Jairo Ferdinand came out of the goal and Juan Manuel Casanueva tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Abelardo Bilbo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Simon Lizer in the 65th minute of the match. Simon Lizer in the 65thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Abelardo Bilbo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Jairo Ferdinand didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Florentino Txindoki went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. After 88 played minutes Diablos Rojos got a freekick which was hit by Casimiro Cloyo. If Norbert Skrzypiec had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Simon Lizer kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match.
