A collision led to Olivos AFC getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Ciro Isias hit a great ball. 14 minutes into the game, Diablos Rojos's Teo Ilazki nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mariano Cloyo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filomeno Abadia in the 24th minute of play forced Diablos Rojos's goalkeeper Jairo Ferdinand to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Casimiro Cloyo fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Diablos Rojos's protests and gave Casimiro Cloyo a yellow card for diving instead. After 27 played minutes Diablos Rojos got a freekick which was hit by Casimiro Cloyo. Jose Nuñez hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Mariano Cloyo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Simon Lizer in the 40th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simon Lizer in the 43rd minute of play forced Olivos AFC's goalkeeper Mariano Cloyo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 44 minutes, Froilan Lucian mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Diablos Rojos and the Olivos AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Froilan Lucian hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Filomeno Abadia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Olivos AFC defense, Teo Ilazki kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mariano Cloyo. The Olivos AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mariano Cloyo should have stopped the shot. When Olivos AFC's Filomeno Abadia in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Diablos Rojos's goalie prevented a goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Filomeno Abadia kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jairo Ferdinand. Saul Cesaro charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Saul Cesaro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 67 played minutes Olivos AFC got a freekick which was hit by Saul Cesaro. With his leg Jairo Ferdinand managed to avoid a goal in the 71stth minute, when Olivos AFC's Camilo Nuxila fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Mariano Cloyo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Simon Lizer in the 77th minute of play. If Teo Ilazki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 89th minute Simon Lizer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mariano Cloyo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 93 minutes into the match, Diablos Rojos's Teo Ilazki sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mariano Cloyo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jairo Ferdinand made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Camilo Nuxila sent off a good shot on target. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Diablos Rojos had played much better football throughout.
