Spectators: 7533 (Terracing: 5651, Seating: 1732, VIP seats: 150) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Feliberto Rodriguez kicked off to start the match. Rodrigo Nevada kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. In the 7th match minute, Sumamao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicasio Dino to maneuver through the defense. Benedicto Ramos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Feliberto Rodriguez in the 8th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Sumamao defense, Feliberto Rodriguez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benedicto Ramos. The Sumamao fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benedicto Ramos should have stopped the shot. After 14 played minutes C.D. Oriente Petrolero got a freekick which was hit by Jacinto Iztal. Sumamao's Adolfo Oroitz got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Through an outstanding action, after 17 minutes, Delmiro Abilio successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 24th minute of the game. One of C.D. Oriente Petrolero:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Sumamao:s goal. In the 25th minute there was a penalty for Sumamao. Nicasio Dino stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Delmiro Abilio. 1-1. Delmiro Abilio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sergio Sasoin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nicasio Dino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 38th minute of the match, Adolfo Oroitz got a very nice opportunity to score, but Delmiro Abilio was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 47 minutes into the match, Sergio Sasoin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Delmiro Abilio. C.D. Oriente Petrolero's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sergio Sasoin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

In the 54th minute, Rodrigo Nevada got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Rodrigo Nevada, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 56 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Delmiro Abilio was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After 57 minutes of play, Sumamao's Adolfo Oroitz made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Delmiro Abilio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Carolo Oro's late challenge caught a C.D. Oriente Petrolero's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carolo Oro helped the player get up and apologised. In the 60th minute, Carolo Oro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eloy Matxin hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. If Arturo Ieltxu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 67 minutes, Jacinto Iztal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C.D. Oriente Petrolero and the Sumamao players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Sumamao booed when C.D. Oriente Petrolero was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacinto Iztal didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 75 minutes, Eloy Matxin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C.D. Oriente Petrolero and the Sumamao players grew even worse after the yellow card. Eloy Matxin kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. In the 77th minute, Julian Mosen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rodrigo Nevada in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Delmiro Abilio saved C.D. Oriente Petrolero from getting behind. Delmiro Abilio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sergio Sasoin, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. When Sumamao's Rodrigo Nevada in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye C.D. Oriente Petrolero's goalie prevented a goal. In the 93rd minute, Rodrigo Nevada hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Sumamao had played much better football throughout.
