Luisito Beltxe's late challenge caught a Club Atletico River Plate's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luisito Beltxe helped the player get up and apologised. Through an outstanding action, after 24 minutes, Csaba Cziránku successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 29 minutes into the game, Maicon Cordeiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Atletico River Plate's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave BARBAS F.C. the free kick. Constantino Libertad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Higinio Burutzagi in the 35th minute of play. After 41 minutes, Irmantas Inčiūra made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. BARBAS F.C.'s Constantino Libertad tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the BARBAS F.C. defense, Irmantas Inčiūra kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Constantino Libertad. The BARBAS F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Constantino Libertad should have stopped the shot. Lyonel Zion kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The wind increased when Irmantas Inčiūra made the kick off in the second half. Cosme Aurre hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Club Atletico River Plate's Maicon Cordeiro got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 56 played minutes BARBAS F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Gervasio Domingues. Csaba Cziránku showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eusebio Sansone, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. In the last second Constantino Libertad throw himself and got hold of the ball when Irmantas Inčiūra in the 72ndth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Irmantas Inčiūra could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Constantino Libertad made a huge save. Constantino Libertad made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Irmantas Inčiūra sent off a good shot on target. Constantino Libertad stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Irmantas Inčiūra's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. Irmantas Inčiūra did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-4 to the left of a surprised Constantino Libertad 81 minutes into the match. Irmantas Inčiūra blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Constantino Libertad having to make a save. Irmantas Inčiūra struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Constantino Libertad didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Atletico River Plate. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Irmantas Inčiūra in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Constantino Libertad saved BARBAS F.C. from getting behind. In the 89th minute, Fulgencio Bilintx hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Club Atletico River Plate's Irmantas Inčiūra in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye BARBAS F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. In the 97th minute, Eusebio Sansone got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The BARBAS F.C. fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Club Atletico River Plate were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
