Bernardino Banegas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardino Min in the 79th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 90 minutes, Bernardino Min put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Bernardino Banegas. Columbus Crew's Lorenzo Gomez was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 95th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. When the final whistle sounded Columbus Crew left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Hersilia Futbol Club.
