The Deuce Athletic Club fans' excitement grew in the 7th match minute when Deuce Athletic Club's Leonardo Chico looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 10 minutes into the game, Deuce Athletic Club's Federico Aimar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cesar Neron made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. In the 13th minute, El Fantasma Tirapiedras's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Slawomir Derlanga fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 14th match minute, El Fantasma Tirapiedras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leo Gentza to maneuver through the defense. Elias Selatse struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Cesar Neron didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Deuce Athletic Club. In the 17thth minute of the game Federico Aimar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but El Fantasma Tirapiedras's Cesar Neron was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 19 minutes into the match, Leonardo Chico dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Cesar Neron, 3-0. El Fantasma Tirapiedras's defense didn't have a chance, in the 22nd minute, when Federico Aimar scored to the left of an out of position Cesar Neron, making the score, 4-0. Federico Aimar took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cesar Neron. Cesar Neron dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Federico Aimar in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cesar Neron prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, El Fantasma Tirapiedras's Cesar Neron got control of the ball when Leonardo Chico tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 36th minute of the match Deuce Athletic Club got a corner. El Fantasma Tirapiedras's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Elias Selatse ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Slawomir Derlanga got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 6-0. 36 minutes into the match. Leonardo Chico could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Cesar Neron made a huge save. Leonardo Chico came free with the goalkeeper in the 41st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Cesar Neron could save by the left post. Tadeo Iraitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Cesar Neron tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 43 minutes, Leo Gentza mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the El Fantasma Tirapiedras and the Deuce Athletic Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to El Fantasma Tirapiedras getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Leo Gentza hit a great ball. Elias Selatse took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 44th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cesar Neron. El Fantasma Tirapiedras's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A collision led to El Fantasma Tirapiedras getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Bernabe Teofilio hit a great ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Paolo Azibar made a kick off. Cesar Neron showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonardo Chico, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. In the 56th minute, Leonardo Chico ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cesar Neron was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. El Fantasma Tirapiedras's Leo Gentza got his second yellow card of the match in the 58th minute. The referee ordered Leo Gentza off the ground. Cosme Ederono's late challenge caught a Deuce Athletic Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cosme Ederono helped the player get up and apologised. In the 60th minute, Cosme Ederono hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cesar Neron showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Federico Aimar, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. In the 64th minute, Federico Aimar made a precise shot to the right of Cesar Neron. El Fantasma Tirapiedras's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0. Federico Aimar took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cesar Neron. Cesar Neron dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-0. Federico Aimar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leonardo Chico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cesar Neron having to interfere. 75 minutes into the game, Deuce Athletic Club's Federico Aimar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cesar Neron made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 10-0. After 78 played minutes El Fantasma Tirapiedras got a freekick which was hit by Cosme Ederono. El Fantasma Tirapiedras's Cesar Neron played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tadeo Iraitz in the 80th minute of play. Cesar Neron made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Federico Aimar in the 82nd minute of play. Leonardo Chico scored 11-0 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cesar Neron, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 89 minutes into the match, Federico Aimar notched a goal, 12-0, to the right of El Fantasma Tirapiedras's Cesar Neron. Cesar Neron was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Federico Aimar succeeded in the game's 92nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 13-0. Cesar Neron showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tadeo Iraitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Deuce Athletic Club had played much better football throughout.
