After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Tião Castro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Everardo Santos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 26 minutes into the match, Manuel Pinto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Everardo Santos. La Banda de Zeque's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Manuel Pinto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Cristo Ledesma charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cristo Ledesma the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Club Atlético Talleres getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Cristo Ledesma hit a great ball. 30 minutes into the game, Torrey Matthews was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Atlético Talleres's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave La Banda de Zeque the free kick. In the 30th match minute, Club Atlético Talleres was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Torrey Matthews to maneuver through the defense. After 35 minutes, Ulryk Nakoneczny made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. La Banda de Zeque's Everardo Santos tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Alberto Jayvier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ulryk Nakoneczny to strike the kick off in the second half. Everardo Santos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-2. After 93 played minutes Club Atlético Talleres got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Pinto. After 97 minutes of play, Club Atlético Talleres's Manuel Pinto made it 6-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Everardo Santos was left in no man's land by his defense there! Club Atlético Talleres's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
