Rengo y Ricota F. C booed when El Fantasma Tirapiedras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernabe Teofilio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Godfredo Donostia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dalmacio Bento having to interfere. Dalmacio Bento took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ferdinando Di Pasquale, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Ferdinando Di Pasquale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 17 minutes into the game, Camilo Hats was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. El Fantasma Tirapiedras's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dep. Rengo y Ricota F. C the free kick. Zhuang Jun Di made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Honorio Manuelo in the 20th minute of play. Dalmacio Bento took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ferdinando Di Pasquale, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 23rd minute of the match Dep. Rengo y Ricota F. C got a corner. El Fantasma Tirapiedras's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Amado Elixio ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Dep. Rengo y Ricota F. C's Godfredo Donostia to a score. 0-1 in the 23rd minute. In the 29th minute, Cosme Ederono hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dalmacio Bento showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Prospero Sandaili, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Dalmacio Bento stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Prospero Sandaili's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Dep. Rengo y Ricota F. C's Roberto Chesus got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Siro Salomon in the 38th minute of play forced El Fantasma Tirapiedras's goalkeeper Dalmacio Bento to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 46th minute, Paolo Azibar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Paolo Azibar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Godfredo Donostia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Dalmacio Bento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rengo y Ricota F. C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. In the 63rd match minute, El Fantasma Tirapiedras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cosme Ederono to maneuver through the defense. In the 64th minute, Amado Elixio fired a really elegant long shot, but Dalmacio Bento threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. After a rather tough play, El Fantasma Tirapiedras's Bernabe Teofilio got a free kick in the 65th minute. After 76 minutes, Siro Salomon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dep. Rengo y Ricota F. C and the El Fantasma Tirapiedras players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Dep. Rengo y Ricota F. C's Siro Salomon got a free kick in the 76th minute. If Honorio Manuelo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Godfredo Donostia took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dalmacio Bento. Dalmacio Bento dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Zhuang Jun Di didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Honorio Manuelo went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. In the 95th minute Siro Salomon suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. After 95 minutes, Denis Ellande mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the El Fantasma Tirapiedras and the Dep. Rengo y Ricota F. C players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to El Fantasma Tirapiedras getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Denis Ellande hit a great ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Dep. Rengo y Ricota F. C had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
