Mono Naranja's Apolo Batista proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Mono Naranja from getting a goal against them. When the match had gone on for 4 minutes, Leonardo Chico took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Apolo Batista to make any attempt to save it. 8 minutes into the match, Mono Naranja's goalkeeper Apolo Batista had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Slawomir Derlanga. When Leonardo Chico came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Deuce Athletic Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leonardo Chico couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Deuce Athletic Club booed when Mono Naranja was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leopoldo Naelio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 17th match minute, Mono Naranja was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicanor Artaldo to maneuver through the defense. 18 minutes into the game, Federico Aimar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Apolo Batista was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Deuce Athletic Club's Leonardo Chico in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mono Naranja's goalie prevented a goal. 4-0 became the score in the 27th minute when Federico Aimar elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Leonardo Chico received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Apolo Batista came out and tried to block the shot, but Leonardo Chico slotted it home off the left post making it 5-0 in the 30th minute. Tadeo Iraitz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Apolo Batista made a huge save. Deuce Athletic Club's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Elias Selatse in the 36th minute. In the 38th minute, Deuce Athletic Club's Leonardo Chico dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 6-0. Leonardo Chico blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Apolo Batista having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Slawomir Derlanga got free with Apolo Batista in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 45th minute, Slawomir Derlanga left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Deuce Athletic Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 7-0.
Mono Naranja's Apolo Batista played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonardo Chico in the 51st minute of play. Apolo Batista came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Deuce Athletic Club's Leonardo Chico. But to his dismay, Leonardo Chico quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. In the 59th minute, Eleuterio Betadur hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Apolo Batista showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elias Selatse, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonardo Chico in the 61st minute of play forced Mono Naranja's goalkeeper Apolo Batista to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Apolo Batista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tadeo Iraitz in the 64th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Federico Aimar put it in 9-0 from a short distance just to the right of Apolo Batista. In the 71st minute, Federico Aimar made a precise shot to the right of Apolo Batista. Mono Naranja's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 10-0. Apolo Batista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonardo Chico in the 75th minute of play. A collision led to Deuce Athletic Club getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Slawomir Derlanga hit a great ball. 82 minutes into the game, Federico Aimar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 11-0. Apolo Batista was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 84 minutes, Federico Aimar made it 12-0 with a short kick to the right side. Mono Naranja's Apolo Batista tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. German Ishmael's late challenge caught a Deuce Athletic Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. German Ishmael helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Mono Naranja's German Ishmael got a free kick in the 87th minute. In the 88th minute, Federico Aimar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Apolo Batista was frozen by the shot and now it was 13-0. 91 minutes into the match, Leonardo Chico had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Apolo Batista. Mono Naranja's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leonardo Chico was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 14-0. Apolo Batista came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Deuce Athletic Club's Leonardo Chico. But to his dismay, Leonardo Chico quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 15-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Deuce Athletic Club fully deserved thier win.
