Alberto Jayvier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Haroldo Lope tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alberto Jayvier in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Haroldo Lope prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Igor Jaume kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Agustin Iraunkor kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. A collision led to Duendes Verdes getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Saturnino Polentzi hit a great ball. La Banda de Zeque's Everardo Santos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save La Banda de Zeque from getting a goal against them. Duendes Verdes's Saverio Domeka got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alberto Jayvier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 33 minutes of play, La Banda de Zeque's Aldo Ihintza made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Haroldo Lope was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 38th minute, Mateo Orlo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Duendes Verdes fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aldo Ihintza in the 45th minute of play forced Duendes Verdes's goalkeeper Haroldo Lope to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Everardo Santos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mateo Orlo, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. The supporters of Duendes Verdes booed when La Banda de Zeque was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Agustin Iraunkor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mateo Orlo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Aldo Ihintza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saverio Domeka in the 68th minute of play forced La Banda de Zeque's goalkeeper Everardo Santos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 81 minutes into the game, Gustavo Marcones was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. La Banda de Zeque's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Duendes Verdes the free kick. Julian Tello charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Julian Tello the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 84th minute, one of La Banda de Zeque:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for La Banda de Zeque. Duendes Verdes's Haroldo Lope played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aldo Ihintza in the 89th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aldo Ihintza in the 90th minute of play forced Duendes Verdes's goalkeeper Haroldo Lope to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gustavo Marcones got his second yellow card in the match during the 98th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to La Banda de Zeque getting a freekick after 99 minutes play. Gustavo Marcones hit a great ball. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
