Enzo Telmo made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Steve Wonder sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Club Atlético Talleres booed when Deuce Athletic Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Virgilio Gaizkine didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ulryk Nakoneczny recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

After a rather tough play, Deuce Athletic Club's Ladislao Hitz got a free kick in the 52nd minute. 57 minutes into the game, Club Atlético Talleres's Tião Castro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Enzo Telmo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. A collision led to Club Atlético Talleres getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Ubaldo Ponciano hit a great ball. Enzo Telmo came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Atlético Talleres's Ulryk Nakoneczny. But to his dismay, Ulryk Nakoneczny quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. 67 minutes into the match, Tião Castro notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Deuce Athletic Club's Enzo Telmo. Enzo Telmo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Enzo Telmo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulryk Nakoneczny, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Celso Pinto came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Deuce Athletic Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Celso Pinto couldn't finish the play. Marcelino Uxio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felipe Ekaitz having to interfere. If Celso Pinto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Deuce Athletic Club getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Justino Etxekopar hit a great ball. In the 85th minute Tião Castro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enzo Telmo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ulryk Nakoneczny had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Deuce Athletic Club's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
