Czeslaw Zahemski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Domingo Anaya, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Eulalio Gines had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gómez Cruzado who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 9thth minute tested the skills of Christian Raymundo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 11 minutes into the match, Santos Demonios FC's goalkeeper Christian Raymundo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ange Dubuc. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Arnaldo Etxepare managed to get in a good position for a shot. Y va el tercero's supporters rose to their feet, but Arnaldo Etxepare was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christian Raymundo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 22 played minutes Santos Demonios FC got a freekick which was hit by Eustaquio Tabby. Gómez Cruzado could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Christian Raymundo made a huge save. Y va el tercero's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Lucjan Skoroda in the 28th minute. Gómez Cruzado made a great header on Y va el tercero's corner, it was just that Santos Demonios FC's Christian Raymundo managed to reach the ball for a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gómez Cruzado in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 45th minute, Prospero Lugo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lucjan Skoroda, 46 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Ange Dubuc didn't have the luck on his side when he, from a short distance, got a opportunity for a shot on goal in the 48th minute. The shot missed the goal on the right side and Ange Dubuc ran dejectedly back to his position. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Domingo Anaya stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gómez Cruzado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 53rd minute Ange Dubuc shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Raymundo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nelsinho Godoi hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Y va el tercero's Lucjan Skoroda got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eleuterio Ignado hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Santos Demonios FC's Christian Raymundo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gómez Cruzado in the 61st minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, Santos Demonios FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gómez Cruzado came free, but Christian Raymundo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Arnaldo Etxepare fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Y va el tercero's protests and gave Arnaldo Etxepare a yellow card for diving instead. After 71 minutes, Nelsinho Godoi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Santos Demonios FC and the Y va el tercero players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 72nd minute of the match Lucjan Skoroda shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Christian Raymundo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The throw-in from Eulalio Gines in the 77th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Y va el tercero's Lyuben Asparuhov. The audience was convinced that Gómez Cruzado's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Christian Raymundo was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. Christian Raymundo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gómez Cruzado in the 79th minute of play. 83 minutes into the match, Santos Demonios FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ange Dubuc came free, but Christian Raymundo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lucjan Skoroda hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Czeslaw Zahemski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eustaquio Tabby in the 87th minute. Ceferino Berto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Raymundo having to interfere. Y va el tercero's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
