Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gómez Cruzado to make the kick off. Gómez Cruzado who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 55thth minute tested the skills of Arnaldo Llorienzo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Y va el tercero's Gómez Cruzado got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Gómez Cruzado managed to get in a good position for a shot. Y va el tercero's supporters rose to their feet, but Gómez Cruzado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arnaldo Llorienzo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gómez Cruzado could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Arnaldo Llorienzo made a huge save. 61 minutes had been played when some careless play by Aguilar AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Lucjan Skoroda was slow to take the kick. During this time Y va el tercero's players had a chance to rest. Y va el tercero's Lucjan Skoroda was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Arnaldo Llorienzo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Gómez Cruzado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Arnaldo Llorienzo made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Gómez Cruzado sent off a good shot on target. 68 minutes into the match, Aguilar AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Gómez Cruzado came free, but Arnaldo Llorienzo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Anibal Elorri fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Aguilar AFC's protests and gave Anibal Elorri a yellow card for diving instead.
