With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ange Dubuc in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joel Che saved Culampajao Quilmeño from getting behind. Horacio Quiroga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 18th minute, Melchor Boniel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 20 minutes, Gonzalo Mincho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Y va el tercero and the Culampajao Quilmeño players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 20 played minutes Y va el tercero got a freekick which was hit by Gonzalo Mincho. After 25 minutes of play, Y va el tercero's Gómez Cruzado made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Culampajao Quilmeño's Joel Che played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gómez Cruzado in the 39th minute of play. Joel Che showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ange Dubuc, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ange Dubuc in the 42nd minute of play forced Culampajao Quilmeño's goalkeeper Joel Che to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sergio Amato stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Joel Che didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Y va el tercero. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ange Dubuc got free with Joel Che in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bernardino Acevedo's late challenge caught a Y va el tercero's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bernardino Acevedo helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Y va el tercero booed when Culampajao Quilmeño was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardino Acevedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Y va el tercero's Lucjan Skoroda tried to score from far away in the 68th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Gonzalo Mincho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Czeslaw Zahemski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sergio Amato, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. During the 76th minute of the match Primitivo Toribio completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Primitivo Toribio a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Primitivo Toribio hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Culampajao Quilmeño's zone, Serafin Lekubegi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joel Che came out of the goal and Serafin Lekubegi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Serafin Lekubegi succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-5 in the 80th playminute. Gonzalo Mincho hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. A collision led to Culampajao Quilmeño getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Candido James hit a great ball. 90 minutes into the game, Horacio Quiroga was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Culampajao Quilmeño's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Y va el tercero the free kick. Horacio Quiroga kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Joel Che made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gómez Cruzado in the 92nd minute. When Y va el tercero's Serafin Lekubegi in the 96th minute got a chance for a shot 96th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Culampajao Quilmeño's goalie prevented a goal.
