If Zeledon Markel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Domingo Anaya received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Arnaldo Llorienzo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arnaldo Llorienzo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Domingos Gerazan in the 11th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Domingo Anaya managed to get in a good position for a shot. Santos Demonios FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Domingo Anaya was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arnaldo Llorienzo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Haroldo Sendoa kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Arsenio Txerran hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Zeledon Markel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnaldo Llorienzo having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Santos Demonios FC's zone, Arsenio Txerran stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christian Raymundo came out of the goal and Arsenio Txerran tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 0-1 became the score in the 24th minute when Domingos Gerazan elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After some careless play in the Aguilar AFC defense, Domingo Anaya kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arnaldo Llorienzo. The Aguilar AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arnaldo Llorienzo should have stopped the shot. Christian Raymundo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arsenio Txerran, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Arnaldo Llorienzo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eleuterio Ignado in the 37th minute of play. When Eleuterio Ignado fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Santos Demonios FC's protests and gave Eleuterio Ignado a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Santos Demonios FC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Eulalio Gines hit a great ball. The Aguilar AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Santos Demonios FC were winning 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arsenio Txerran to make the kick off. The supporters of Santos Demonios FC booed when Aguilar AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Haroldo Sendoa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Domingo Anaya sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 69 minutes into the match, Aguilar AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Eleuterio Ignado came free, but Arnaldo Llorienzo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 74 played minutes Aguilar AFC got a freekick which was hit by Inocencio Nisio. Zeledon Markel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Eulalio Gines kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Arnaldo Llorienzo. That made the score 0-4 in the 83 minute of play. Christian Raymundo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arsenio Txerran in the 91st minute of the match. Santos Demonios FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
