The supporters of Salto AFC booed when Brujas F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mauro Jerrold didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 7 played minutes Salto AFC got a freekick which was hit by Maarek Ojakäär. 8 minutes into the match, Siro Osasun dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Emiliano Cebo, 1-1. A hard shot 13 in the game by Emanuel Markel from a close distance when the talented Emiliano Cebo managed to make a qualified save. Salto AFC's players were relieved. The crowd rose to their feet as Brujas F.C's Emanuel Markel slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Emiliano Cebo. That made the score 2-1 after 15 minutes of play. Emanuel Markel scored 3-1 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Emiliano Cebo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Emiliano Cebo made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Emanuel Markel sent off a good shot on target. Marcial Inge took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victorio Abechuco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Brujas F.C defense, Donato Cebrian kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcial Inge. The Brujas F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcial Inge should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Salto AFC getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Cayetano Txanton hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Salto AFC's Maarek Ojakäär got a free kick in the 36th minute. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 40th minute of the game. One of Brujas F.C:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Salto AFC:s goal. 47 minutes into the match, Salto AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Siro Osasun came free, but Emiliano Cebo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The score stood at 3-3 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Emiliano Cebo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Siro Osasun, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Marcial Inge made an important save on a dangerous shot by Victorio Abechuco in the 53rd minute. In the 59th minute, Ondřej Macháček hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudio Galoer in the 62nd minute of play forced Salto AFC's goalkeeper Emiliano Cebo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Claudio Galoer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Emiliano Cebo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 66th minute, Donato Cebrian reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Marcial Inge. The goal made the score 3-4. Emiliano Cebo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Siro Osasun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Siro Osasun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 79th minute Claudio Galoer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emiliano Cebo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Donato Cebrian could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Marcial Inge made a huge save. 83 minutes into the match, Brujas F.C's goalkeeper Marcial Inge had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Christian Furtado. Tiburcio Chano kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. After 90 played minutes Brujas F.C got a freekick which was hit by Aurelio Estevon. 90 minutes into the match, Brujas F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Camilo Nuñez came free, but Marcial Inge reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Brujas F.C supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Salto AFC's performance. The match ended with a win for Salto AFC.
