Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Fausto Viator took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a rather tough play, Paragüil FC's Eustaquio Erauso got a free kick in the 3rd minute. 12 minutes into the match, Argentino de Merlo's goalkeeper Isaias Remir had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hugo Fernandez. Zacarias Milian recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fausto Viator struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Isaias Remir didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Paragüil FC. 26 minutes into the match, Argentino de Merlo's goal looked a bit too open when Fausto Viator came free, but Isaias Remir reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 32 minutes of play, Argentino de Merlo's Zacarias Milian made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ildefonso Tiso was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ildefonso Tiso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joãozinho Pernambucano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 42nd minute, Orlando Abalos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Sebastian Nataniel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Atilano Salomone kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joãozinho Pernambucano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Isidro Evarado's late challenge caught a Argentino de Merlo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Isidro Evarado helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Paragüil FC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Isidro Evarado hit a great ball. In the 55th minute, Gabriel Ellande hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 59 minutes into the game, Argentino de Merlo's Miguel Borja nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ildefonso Tiso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 62nd minute, Zeledon Oso left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Argentino de Merlo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. When the match clock showed 68 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Joãozinho Pernambucano sped through Paragüil FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ildefonso Tiso. 72 minutes into the match, Paragüil FC's goal looked a bit too open when Joãozinho Pernambucano came free, but Ildefonso Tiso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Argentino de Merlo's Fernan Naike was substituted for Zacarias Milian. The supporters of Argentino de Merlo booed when Paragüil FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Conrado Caitano didn't get a good kick on the ball. 75 minutes into the game, Argentino de Merlo's Joãozinho Pernambucano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. In the 85th minute Argentino de Merlo were awarded a corner. Zeledon Oso went to the cornerflag to take it. Zeledon Oso made a great header on Argentino de Merlo's corner, it was just that Paragüil FC's Ildefonso Tiso managed to reach the ball for a save. Ildefonso Tiso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernan Naike in the 87th minute of play. The Argentino de Merlo fans' excitement grew in the 92nd match minute when Argentino de Merlo's Joãozinho Pernambucano looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The Paragüil FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Argentino de Merlo were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
