But to his dismay, Blas Pacorro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. When Constantino Mitxel came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the La Guaina FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Constantino Mitxel couldn't finish the play. In the 12th minute, Marcial Abeijon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 14th minute, Hipolito Cordara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edgardo Olando made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Alejo Evis sent off a good shot on target. In the 19th minute, Paolo Liher hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Tornquist FC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Paolo Liher hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Constantino Mitxel in the 31st minute of play forced Tornquist FC's goalkeeper Edgardo Olando to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 34 minutes into the game, when Marcial Abeijon put in a rough tackle. A collision led to La Guaina FC getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Marcial Abeijon hit a great ball. After 35 played minutes Everardo Peter shot from long distance. At first the shot seemed to be simple for La Guaina FC's Aurel Trică to catch but Everardo Peter was lucky. It became 0-2 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal. Aurel Trică took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciro Calisto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Benito Frisco came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the La Guaina FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benito Frisco couldn't finish the play. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Blas Pacorro was the one to do the kick off. 57 minutes into the match, La Guaina FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rene Gorosti came free, but Aurel Trică reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aurel Trică showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paolo Liher in the 60th minute of the match. Aurel Trică made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Blas Pacorro in the 65th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Segundo Cordarrol in the 75th minute of play forced Tornquist FC's goalkeeper Edgardo Olando to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, La Guaina FC's Aurel Trică got control of the ball when Geronimo Telmo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hipolito Cordara hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 78th minute of the game. One of La Guaina FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Tornquist FC:s goal. In the 80th minute, the referee gave Tornquist FC a penalty. Everardo Peter looked confident and blasted the ball into goal by the left post, totally unstoppable for Aurel Trică. After 83 played minutes Tornquist FC got a freekick which was hit by Geronimo Telmo. Paolo Liher received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Aurel Trică tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 97 minutes into the match, La Guaina FC's goal looked a bit too open when Blas Pacorro came free, but Aurel Trică reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tornquist FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
