When the match had gone on for 14 minutes, Pedro Toribio took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Marcial Inge to make any attempt to save it. In the 18th match minute, Brujas F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Markel to maneuver through the defense. 22 minutes into the game, Gaspar Hodei recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Marcial Inge. Gaspar Hodei showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Siro Osasun managed to get in a good position for a shot. Brujas F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Siro Osasun was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Americo Cilio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Brujas F.C's Marcial Inge proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Brujas F.C from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Siro Osasun in the 32nd minute of play forced Colón FC's goalkeeper Americo Cilio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gaspar Hodei was the one to do the kick off. Pedro Toribio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 53rd minute of the match Florencio Franco shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcial Inge showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Emanuel Markel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Americo Cilio made a huge save. Brujas F.C's Marcial Inge played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaspar Hodei in the 59th minute of play. After 59 played minutes Brujas F.C got a freekick which was hit by Mauro Jerrold. Marcial Inge came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Colón FC's Gaspar Hodei. But to his dismay, Gaspar Hodei quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Americo Cilio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Siro Osasun in the 89th minute of the match. Rogelio Cebo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Americo Cilio having to interfere. Florencio Franco kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. 95 minutes into the game, Emanuel Markel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Americo Cilio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Brujas F.C's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Colón FC had won, even though Brujas F.C had held more of the ball.
