Silvio Hanni was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 17th match minute, Fiere FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcelino Mancio to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aureliano Mirande got free with Elvio Christobal in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Artemio Oliveiro in the 23rd minute of play forced Fiere FC's goalkeeper Elvio Christobal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With 26 minutes on the clock, Amancio Txeru commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Amancio Txeru kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. When Marcelino Mancio came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Fiere FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcelino Mancio couldn't finish the play. Elvio Christobal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernesto Garoa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paragüil FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ernesto Garoa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Elvio Christobal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernesto Garoa in the 52nd minute of play. 53 minutes into the game, Aureliano Mirande was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Paragüil FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fiere FC the free kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Artemio Oliveiro in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Elvio Christobal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Artemio Oliveiro put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Elvio Christobal. Aureliano Mirande sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Artemio Oliveiro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Elvio Christobal was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. Fiere FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. A collision led to Fiere FC getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Denis Ermengol hit a great ball. Hilario Tono hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Elvio Christobal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Fernendo in the 83rd minute of the match. Aureliano Mirande received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Elvio Christobal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Artemio Oliveiro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Elvio Christobal was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. 89 minutes into the match, Paragüil FC's goalkeeper Silvio Hanni had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by 李笑峰. In the 90th minute Artemio Oliveiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elvio Christobal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elvio Christobal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernesto Garoa, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Paragüil FC had played much better football throughout.
