Mataderos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliseo Benitez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Danilo Abeitia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alejandro Vincent, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sp. Mataderos's Danilo Abeitia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Sp. Mataderos from getting a goal against them. Ermegildo Etxatxu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leandro Lobo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcelo Eguen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Danilo Abeitia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ermegildo Etxatxu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vladimiro Ikatz in the 18th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Ochentosos F.C's Danilo Abeitia threw himself towards the right post 20 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Alejandro Vincent, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 21st minute, Severo Otsando hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ermegildo Etxatxu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victorino Geofredo in the 22nd minute of play. After 23 played minutes Sp. Mataderos got a freekick which was hit by Vladimiro Ikatz. Danilo Abeitia made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Marcelo Eguen sent off a good shot on target. After 27 minutes of play, Sp. Mataderos's Leandro Lobo made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ermegildo Etxatxu was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 29 played minutes Sp. Mataderos got a freekick which was hit by Matias Mogel. In the 31st minute, Victorino Geofredo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sp. Mataderos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After a rather tough play, Ochentosos F.C's Andres Cuartio got a free kick in the 34th minute. Ochentosos F.C's Ermegildo Etxatxu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victorino Geofredo in the 35th minute of play. 37 minutes into the game, Sp. Mataderos's Vladimiro Ikatz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ermegildo Etxatxu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. 41 minutes into the match, Sp. Mataderos's Aldo Salomone sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ermegildo Etxatxu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Victoriano Perico during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 47th match minute, Sp. Mataderos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximiliano Oriche to maneuver through the defense. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.
The wind increased when Paolo Innocenzio made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Ochentosos F.C getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Victoriano Perico hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Sp. Mataderos defense, Marcelo Eguen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Danilo Abeitia. The Sp. Mataderos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Danilo Abeitia should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Sp. Mataderos's zone, Paolo Innocenzio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Danilo Abeitia came out of the goal and Paolo Innocenzio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ermegildo Etxatxu was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Leandro Lobo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-5 in the 71 minute of play. Ermegildo Etxatxu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leandro Lobo in the 74th minute of play. Alejandro Vincent received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Danilo Abeitia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 77 minutes into the game, Sp. Mataderos's Victorino Geofredo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ermegildo Etxatxu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-6. In the 80th minute Andres Cuartio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danilo Abeitia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 84thth minute of the game Alejandro Vincent who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sp. Mataderos's Danilo Abeitia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 85th minute, Matias Mogel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 87th minute, Sp. Mataderos's Leandro Lobo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ermegildo Etxatxu. Ermegildo Etxatxu yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-7. Alejandro Bernabel hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Vladimiro Ikatz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Ermegildo Etxatxu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 96 minutes into the match, Sp. Mataderos's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelo Eguen came free, but Danilo Abeitia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
