After a rather tough play, Anjullan AFC's Narciso Fix got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Silverio Matthew in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Severo Maura prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 9 minutes into the game, Anjullan AFC's Silverio Matthew nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Severo Maura made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Severo Maura made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonio Etxahun in the 12th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silverio Matthew in the 13th minute of play forced Lamalapri FC's goalkeeper Severo Maura to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Severo Maura didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fausto Costante went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. When Leo Azevedo came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Anjullan AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leo Azevedo couldn't finish the play. Severo Maura showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silverio Matthew in the 23rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Anjullan AFC's Herminio Paublo got a free kick in the 26th minute. 28 minutes into the match, Silverio Matthew had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Severo Maura. Lamalapri FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Silverio Matthew was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Lamalapri FC's Severo Maura played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antonio Etxahun in the 36th minute of play. After having played for 39 minutes, Isaac Indalecio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lamalapri FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isaac Indalecio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 44th minute, Fausto Costante left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Anjullan AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

With a little luck, Lamalapri FC's Severo Maura got control of the ball when Silverio Matthew tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 53 minutes, Silverio Matthew managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Anjullan AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Silverio Matthew was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Orlando Millrick could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Severo Maura made a huge save. 58 minutes into the match, Lamalapri FC's goalkeeper Severo Maura had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Silverio Matthew. When Blas Nevada fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lamalapri FC's protests and gave Blas Nevada a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Anjullan AFC booed when Lamalapri FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Blas Nevada didn't get a good kick on the ball. Severo Maura made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonio Etxahun in the 63rd minute of play. In the 64th minute Anjullan AFC were awarded a corner. Angel Quintan went to the cornerflag to take it. After 68 played minutes Lamalapri FC got a freekick which was hit by Marcial Berdaitz. 69 minutes into the match, Anjullan AFC's Angel Quintan broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Fausto Costante took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Severo Maura. Severo Maura dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-7. Anjullan AFC's Damian Unax was substituted for Fausto Costante. Severo Maura stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Amancio Benat's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. Segundo Gartzea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adrian Gilesindo having to interfere. 83 minutes into the game, Anjullan AFC's Damian Unax nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Severo Maura made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-8. Adrian Gilesindo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ismael Baldovino in the 87th minute of play. Severo Maura showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amancio Benat in the 89th minute of the match. In the 91st minute, Amancio Benat ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Severo Maura was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-9. Lamalapri FC's Severo Maura played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amancio Benat in the 96th minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Anjullan AFC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Lamalapri FC.
