The referee ignored Daviana Sport's protests and gave Arturo Bikendi a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Daviana Sport getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Arturo Bikendi hit a great ball. Primitivo Cordaro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sebastian Karlsson's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. 15 minutes into the game, one of Daviana Sport:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After 20 minutes of play, Daviana Sport's Guaberto Caitano made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Primitivo Cordaro was left in no man's land by his defense there! 24 minutes into the match, Sebastian Karlsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Primitivo Cordaro. Boca Juniors's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sebastian Karlsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. The supporters of Boca Juniors booed when Daviana Sport was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aldo Francis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arturo Bikendi stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Primitivo Cordaro. 0-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Guaberto Caitano was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ambrosio Sarmanton in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aquilino Orlo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Aquilino Orlo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kağan Duro, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Primitivo Cordaro was a little too slow when Aldo Cefero got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 59th minute. The score was now 0-4. After a rather tough play, Boca Juniors's Dario Bemabe got a free kick in the 64th minute. Rodrigo Baleren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Primitivo Cordaro made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kağan Duro in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aquilino Orlo saved Daviana Sport from getting behind. Aquilino Orlo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ambrosio Sarmanton in the 90th minute of play. In the 90th minute, Kağan Duro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aquilino Orlo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. Primitivo Cordaro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Guaberto Caitano's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. When the match was over Daviana Sport could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Boca Juniors throughout the match.
