The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Inocencio Eyague made a precise shot to the right of Basilio Iigo. Basilio Iigo came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by NAZCA Y JONTE AAAJ's Jose Quinteros. But to his dismay, Jose Quinteros quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 11 minutes into the game, Genaro Matia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. NAZCA Y JONTE AAAJ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave TRINQUETA 1997 FC the free kick. Genaro Matia hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. NAZCA Y JONTE AAAJ's Sid Ahmed Xavier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Faustino Porfiro in the 18th minute of play. Basilio Iigo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Javier Milei in the 20th minute of the match. In the 22nd minute, Americo Salvatore hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 23rd minute, Marcelo Chucho sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and TRINQUETA 1997 FC's Basilio Iigo didn't even have to move. In the 25th minute Baldomero Micael shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sid Ahmed Xavier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 27th minute, Jose Quinteros ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Basilio Iigo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vicente Cristofor in the 30th minute of play forced TRINQUETA 1997 FC's goalkeeper Basilio Iigo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of NAZCA Y JONTE AAAJ booed when TRINQUETA 1997 FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugo Iliana didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 39th minute, Jeronimo Basajaun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half NAZCA Y JONTE AAAJ were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

If Vicente Cristofor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jose Quinteros could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Basilio Iigo made a huge save. When Hugo Iliana came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the TRINQUETA 1997 FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hugo Iliana couldn't finish the play. Basilio Iigo made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Abelardo Peru sent off a good shot on target. Sid Ahmed Xavier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baldomero Micael in the 72nd minute of the match. After 77 played minutes TRINQUETA 1997 FC got a freekick which was hit by Baldomero Micael. Vicente Cristofor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Basilio Iigo was a little too slow when Inocencio Eyague got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 82nd minute. The score was now 0-4. Basilio Iigo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vicente Cristofor in the 85th minute. Sid Ahmed Xavier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hugo Iliana, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. NAZCA Y JONTE AAAJ made a substitution. Gabriel Barea replaced Inocencio Eyague. A collision led to NAZCA Y JONTE AAAJ getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Jose Quinteros hit a great ball. When the match was over NAZCA Y JONTE AAAJ could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than TRINQUETA 1997 FC throughout the match.
