With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ricardo Izel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 9 minutes into the game, Aris Magos lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Ricardo Izel. Simon Semeno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Simon Alegren, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. In the 18th minute Simon Alegren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Simon Semeno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Simon Alegren scored 1-1 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Simon Semeno, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rinconada AFC's Aris Magos was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 22nd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Ricardo Izel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aris Magos, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. A hard shot 29 in the game by Aris Magos from a close distance when the talented Ricardo Izel managed to make a qualified save. Club Deportivo Colonial's players were relieved. Simon Semeno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Luzea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With his leg Ricardo Izel managed to avoid a goal in the 33rdth minute, when Rinconada AFC's Augusto Indar fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Simon Semeno came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Deportivo Colonial's Simon Alegren. But to his dismay, Simon Alegren quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. 39 minutes into the match, Rinconada AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Luzea came free, but Simon Semeno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Rinconada AFC's Erubiel Lopez got a free kick in the 41st minute. In the 44th minute, Martin Luzea made a precise shot to the right of Simon Semeno. Rinconada AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. After 46 played minutes Club Deportivo Colonial got a freekick which was hit by Juan Terciero. After the first half Club Deportivo Colonial were leading 2-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Aris Magos made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Club Deportivo Colonial's zone, Augusto Indar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ricardo Izel came out of the goal and Augusto Indar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 54 minutes into the game, Club Deportivo Colonial's Martin Luzea nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Simon Semeno made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-4. In the 58th minute Simon Alegren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Simon Semeno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Esteve Curcio hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Martin Luzea received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Simon Semeno came out and tried to block the shot, but Martin Luzea slotted it home off the left post making it 2-5 in the 66th minute. The audience was convinced that Aris Magos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ricardo Izel was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. 75 minutes into the match, Rinconada AFC's goalkeeper Simon Semeno had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Martin Luzea. In the 75th minute, Eustacio Crispo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 76 minutes into the match, Martin Luzea had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Simon Semeno. Rinconada AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Martin Luzea was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-6. When Simon Alegren came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Club Deportivo Colonial fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Simon Alegren couldn't finish the play. Eustacio Crispo kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. 83 minutes into the game, Simon Alegren recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Simon Semeno. Simon Alegren showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-7. With a little luck, Rinconada AFC's Simon Semeno got control of the ball when Martin Luzea tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 91st play minute Ruperto Dominguez came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Simon Semeno. 2-8. Simon Semeno acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 94th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Esteve Curcio. Simon Semeno was out of position in the 96 minute of play, and Simon Alegren capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Simon Alegren really showed his touch with that goal: 2-9.
