Saturnino Bertran scored 0-1 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonatan Licerio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jonatan Licerio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Brun in the 12th minute of the match. 13 minutes into the match, Independent Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Brun came free, but Jonatan Licerio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonatan Licerio came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Unión y Progreso Tandil's Cícero Moura. But to his dismay, Cícero Moura quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Jonatan Licerio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Brun in the 18th minute of the match. Jonatan Licerio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Brun in the 20th minute of play. Haroldo Berbiz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 21st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jonatan Licerio. Independent Football Club's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Unión y Progreso Tandil's Hernan Firme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Natalio Inocente in the 23rd minute of play. Eduardo Hustaz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Hernan Firme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonatan Licerio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Brun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonatan Licerio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cícero Moura in the 29th minute of the match. Unión y Progreso Tandil's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Haroldo Berbiz in the 31st minute. Jonatan Licerio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cícero Moura, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. 37 minutes into the match, Cícero Moura notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Independent Football Club's Jonatan Licerio. Jonatan Licerio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 53rd minute Saturnino Bertran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonatan Licerio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Saturnino Bertran might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonatan Licerio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Saturnino Bertran ran back to his position shaking his head. Jonatan Licerio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carlos Urtungo went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Independent Football Club's Arnaldo Quilino got a free kick in the 62nd minute. A collision led to Independent Football Club getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Florencio Atauri hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Independent Football Club's zone, Haroldo Berbiz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonatan Licerio came out of the goal and Haroldo Berbiz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 67th play minutes Carlos Urtungo shot 0-6, a short shot which went by Jonatan Licerio and just under the crossbar into goal. Hernan Firme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jairo Estavan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 77 minutes into the match, Cícero Moura dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jonatan Licerio, 0-7. With a little luck, Independent Football Club's Jonatan Licerio got control of the ball when Cícero Moura tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 84th minute, Unión y Progreso Tandil's Carlos Urtungo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jonatan Licerio. Jonatan Licerio yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-8. When Zadornin Muela fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Independent Football Club's protests and gave Zadornin Muela a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Unión y Progreso Tandil booed when Independent Football Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zadornin Muela didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonatan Licerio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Haroldo Berbiz in the 87th minute of play. Jonatan Licerio came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Unión y Progreso Tandil's Haroldo Berbiz. But to his dismay, Haroldo Berbiz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-9. Carlos Urtungo had several of the Independent Football Club's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 95 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-10 score and a disappointed Jonatan Licerio as he didn't even see the shot coming.
